OPTIMIZATION
Multiple hardware changes have been taken into consideration from the alpha prototype. A new smaller flowrate sensor has been tested and replaced the original sensor. This change has allowed the team to reduce the size of the bottle as well as redesign the shape of the bottle to solve time and resources as further prototyping continues. Also, most importantly, the new flowrate sensor does impact the performance of the bottle in any way.

Changes in the bottle design have also taken place. The group realized that the the original design would not be able to be 3D printed. As a result, the changes to the bottle design have taken place in able to eliminate the need for wasted resources on supports while printing. Also, the new design will result in the bottle being printed in four seperate parts, instead of three, allowing easy design changes to be made without reprinting the entire bottle as well as ensuring the bottle will be easier to assemble.

A new bottle design has taken place. A full metal bottle has been designed for assembly at the Stevens machine shop. This bottle is a scaled up version of the 3d printed bottles made at the 3d printers. This bottle comes in 5 different pieces. 2 caps, and 3 individual pieces of the bottle.

The mobile application also continued to be developed. The mobile application has pages such as login, profile, daily plan, calendar, and leaderboard.

Experimentation
To test the accuracy of the bottle, a premeasured amount of water was poured into the bottle. The amount of water was then drank and and recorded through a serial monitor. The data shows that longer sips are more accurate than quick ones. The algorithm to measure water drank is being modified and tested to ensure greater accuracy for the user.

The mobile application is constantly being tested as well.

DELIVERY
Final Product
WaterMate produced a fully working bottle. A new bottle was produced in the machine lab at Stevens. We were able to to keep the same hardware from previous revisions in this new design.
The mobile application also continued to be developed. The mobile application has pages such as login, profile, daily plan, calendar, and leaderboard.

MANAGEMENT
Unfortunately due to 3D printing issues out of the teams control the timeline for the final prototype of the project had to be pushed back multiple times. However, the team has The plan is to have a final prototype by 4/15.

Throughout the project the team faced many setbacks. We were able to come together as a team and produce a viable product.
