MILESTONE 3

INITIAL APP LOGIN SCREEN
This screen to the left is where the user would login to the application when they open it on their mobile device.
HOME SCREEN

To the right is the home screen for the application. This is where the user would be brought right after they login to the app. It shows some quick hydration statistics and then below it has all of the navigation buttons.

ALPHA PROTOTYPE
To the left is the alpha prototype mechanical design. This design track water consumption and communicates data via bluetooth.
BLUETOOTH SERIAL COM

This screen above is the data being sent over via bluetooth communication.
3D PRINTED MODEL
Below is the WaterMate team's first prototype for the final bottle design, displaying both the bottle itself and the cap.

3D MODEL OF THE BOTTLES BODY
Bottle is made of 2 sections, inside and outside layers in order to help keep the bottle insulated as well as provide a location for the wires connecting the sensor to the Arduino board and battery located at the bottom of the bottle.

BOTTLE CAP
Attached to the cap is an housing area for the bottle flow rate sensor
TEAMWORK
Makes the dream work.
The WaterMate team is committed to great team work. We specifically chose a group that was very multi-discipline. Each member of the team performs different tasks so everything can get done. Vincent is making great progress on finding the best technologies that will fit the team's needs. He has everything working and running and is currently upgrading the flow rate sensor to be more compact and accurate and working on a next generation charging system so the bottle is ready at all times. Sean has been working on the application and making sure it can handle user on multiple types of devices while still being appealing to the eye. He is currently working on Bluetooth connection between the bottle and the users device to be get real time data. Phillip has been in charge of working on a 3-D model to be printed so all of the pieces can easily be fit inside the bottle.
